Children's ClassI run many workshops in primary schools throughout Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire. Some of these are through the Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham and Brewery Arts in Cirencester for whom I am an Outreach Practitioner. I have also given workshops for Special Needs teachers as an Inset learning day. I work with many schools on special projects for their Art Weeks or as part of local authority grant projects or Lottery funded projects. The workshops can be for a day or for longer depending on the requirements of the client. I have a current Police enhanced Disclosure Certificate as well as Public Liabilities Insurance for the sum of 5 million pounds.

With many schools deciding to hold an ‘Art Week’ once a year I am often asked to run a project based on a subject that the children have been studying throughout the term. Recent projects have been the ‘Forest in Autumn’, ‘Our Village’, ‘Identity’ and a project which was based on a musical instrument theme.

Children's ClassSchool Workshop Prices

The cost of the schools workshop is £180 per day plus the cost of materials. I can also run workshops for teachers as an ‘Inset Day’ or add time at the end of the school workshop for the teachers to learn the craft so that they can carry on the skills with the children throughout the year.
